What Is PRL’s Total Vision System?:
PRL’s Total Vision System is a combination of heavy tempered glass used in conjunction with a line of European style door hardware designed for all-glass entrance systems that allows absolute transparency. Our Total Vision System door patch fittings are comprised of minimal metal supports that provide maximum, unobstructed, visibility and secure all-glass door function.
How Does PRL’s Total Vision Systems Work?:
Total Vision Systems use small but strong European style patch fitting hardware to pivot the doors and hold adjacent glass panels in place. With PRL’s Total Vision System the glass is the structural element and the hardware simply serves to pivot the doors.
PRL offers a large assortment of Total Vision System (TVS) glass and door patch fittings. We fabricate our own standard and custom floating headers in-house as well as provide standard patch fittings and locks for a variety of glass thicknesses. Multiple modular Euro fittings are also available for unlimited configurations.
*When used properly European patch fittings are strong and capable of accommodating most standard opening conditions. Therefore, thoughtful design considerations must to be taken into account when specifying our Euro hardware.
We can accommodate customized European style fittings for oversized doors and special configurations. Please consult with a PRL representative for details as some limitations may apply.
L-Angle Fin Head Bracket (FHBBS):
PRL’s L-Angle fin head brackets are an excellent method of supporting glass fins that reduce the amount of glass deflection for all-glass entrances. A set of upper stabilizer fin brackets are used to secure the glass fin at the structural ceiling condition by pinning the fin through the angle bracket to the structural ceiling above. PRL L-Angle fin head brackets are custom made in-house of steel or aluminum per project requirements.

Sidelite/Transom Pivot Bracket For 1/2” Glass (PL-440):
PRL’s PL-440 sidelite/transom pivot bracket is ideally designed to secure the glass transom to the adjacent sidelight and provide a means of pivoting the glass door. This Total Vision System fitting secures glass transoms to adjacent glass and sidelight panels.

PRL’s PL-450 sidelite/transom pivot bracket is ideally designed to secure the glass transom to the adjacent sidelight and provide a means of pivoting the glass door. This Total Vision System fitting secures glass transoms to adjacent glass and sidelight panels while also providing a support bracket for a glass stabilizer fin behind the transom glass.Specs:

Sidelite/Transom Door Stop Bracket (PL-442):
PRL’s PL-442 sidelite/transom door stop bracket is designed to secure the glass transom to the adjacent sidelight while providing a door stop for single door applications.*Transom weight should not exceed 100 lbs. If weight exceeds 100 lbs. a transom pinning channel is required.
